ISLAM IS THE FASTEST GROWING RELIGION.

On the 23rd of April 2015, Pew Research Center published an article (link below) on religious demographics stating why Muslims are the fastest growing religious group, better put is why Islam is the fastest growing religion. It posited that by 2050 AD Islam might overtake Christianity as the world’s number one religion, this claim has caused heated debate in theological circles, but the numbers don’t lie, Muslims claim Islam is growing because it is the One True Religion, however what they fail to tell us are factors that are influencing the sheer and rapid growth of Islam?  New converts? Birthrates? Persecution? Fear? Illiteracy? In this article, factors responsible for Islam’s rise will be discussed in full. To start with let’s go with the 2 major reasons Pew Research gave.

Birthrate: the birthrate of Muslims are very high, according to Pew Research, Muslims have more children than other religions, it is not rocket science to come to a definite conclusion that when there are more kids in a religion, the religion is bound to grow fast. 

So the question is why is there a high birthrate in areas with Muslims? Two (2) reasons 

• Impact of Islam on Women: women in nations with Judeo-Christian Roots are free to pursue any career they want (forget the gender pay gap or female-suppression myth), however in nations with Islamic roots women have fewer opportunities, how can they? When they are mainly used as tilth (Sura 2:223), sex-bots (Jami at-Tirmidhi 1160), Children-producing machines, and are considered to have deficient mind by Prophet Mohammed (Sahih al-Bukhari 2658). Given the following ideologies of Islam about women it shows why parents would risk educating their daughters (illiteracy) and thus those women or young ladies start having children at a very young age(15-20), families are started when they are younger, and this in turn gives them more child-bearing opportunities. Now ask yourself why are there fewer educated Muslim women and more kids in Sub-Saharan Africa than there are educated Christian women? 
• Polygamy: For those with shallow or no knowledge of Islam, a man in Islam is allowed to have at most 4 wives (Quran 4:3) at any point in time, while Christians can have only 1 in their entire lives except for death to a wife. Polygamy vs Monogamy, again common sense would infer that a man with 2 wives would and should have more kids that the man with 1, now add 2 more wives to the mix and we see explosion of offspring’s. The man with a wife might have 3 kids, those 3 kids marry 3 other kids give birth to 2 kids each (6 grandkids), while the man with 8 kids from 4 wives if 2 kids marry 2 wives each and give birth to 2 kids each per wives(8 grandkids already from just 2 of 4 kids), the math’s favors Muslims. 

Fear of Apostasy: there are converts to Islam daily, probably in their thousands, accordingly there are more out of Islam but they refuse to publicly admit it due to fear of apostasy. In Muslim dominated nations as a general rule people leaving the religion of Islam are shamed, ostracized, abandoned and in extreme cases killed or have fatwa declared on them. The prophet Mohammed commanded those who leave Islam to be killed [Sahih al-Bukhari (52:260, 84:57,64-65, 89:291)](so much for no compulsion in religion),  Muslim scholars and apologists like Dr. Zaki Naik and Dr. Ally Shabbir tell us that hadith applies only to those who leave and propagates against Islam. From the looks of it, it sounds logical and fair but then a person who leaves Islam has a reason for doing so and would likely not have favorable things to say about Islam in this case it is justified to declare fatwa or kill the person. Pretty much what they are saying is: 

“If you want to leave Islam don’t criticize Islam, if you stay in Islam don’t criticize Islam”, 

 So much for freedom of expression, and lastly Islam leaves one in a perpetual state of hyper-cognitive dissonance. Thus it is harder for Muslims to switch religions than say Christians. 

Islamofornia: you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave. 

Immigration: it is a well-known fact that the Muslim population in the West is growing rapidly, what isn’t widely known is the cause of it. Most people assume it is due to conversion to the religion however the reality is, massive migration by Muslims from Islamic nations (Islam is a religion peace but somehow Muslims are running away from countries of religion of peace, umm seem convenient), there is so much instability in Muslim lands caused by infightings within Islamic groups(Shiite, Sunnis, Wahhabis, Salafists etc.) that believe they are practicing true Islam while the others are hypocrites or apostates(Allah commands killings of apostates and hypocrites [Sura 9:67-68, 73]), and in so fierce a situation that most people feel they need to run to the West so they can live in ‘peace’. 

To summarize points raised: why is Islam growing globally? 

1. High birthrates due to teachings in Quran about women and marriage,  
2. Psychological conditioning of children via cognitive dissonance,  
3. Migration to the West by those children due to instability in Islamic nations. 

Could these reasons argue for Islam being the One True Religion hence the rapid growth?
