ARE YOU A TRUE MUSLIM?

Sunday the 17th of July, I made a post on Facebook titled “who is a True Christian?” today I’m returning the favor to our Muslim friends, words here are supported directly by the Quran and or Hadiths.

  1. MUSLIM: one who submits to the will of Allah and his messenger prophet Mohammed. Sura 2:128; 3:64; 12:101; 16:89; 72:14. A true Muslims has unquestioning loyalty to Allah and Rasoul Allah(Mohammed). Muslims are Monotheistic Unitarians(they do not believe in the Judeo-Christian concept of Trinity[Sura 6:163; 9:31])a True Muslim CANNOT take non-Muslims for friend unless for protecting Islam or his/her interests[Sura 3:28; 4:137-140] and a True Muslim CANNOT kill another True Muslim intentionally [Sura 4:92-93].
  1. ALLAHAllah exists, He is the Greatest and The creator of all things with man being his most special creature [Sura 6:102; 36:81], He curses unbelievers [Sura 2:89, 16], wants people to sin so he can forgive them [Sahih Muslim 2687]Allah has 99 names, He maintains a Master-Slave Relationship with Muslims, and He is merciful and beneficent to Muslims or anyone who becomes a Muslim[Sura 25:70]. Is Omniscient, eternal, kind, full of Glory[Sura 11:73; 22:65] etc. Allah is also a schemer, best of planners[Sura 8:30; 13:42], has no son[6:101, 2:116]
  1. ABORTION: True Muslims do not believe nor support abortion, it is haram and a corruption in the land, though there are differing creation stories in the Quran, all agree Humans are a special creation of God, Abortion on demand is highly prohibited, abortion for fear of poverty is also rejected Sura 6:151, Killing of children(fetus or otherwise) is a great sin Sura 17:31.
  1. ABROGATION: True Muslims understand and believe there are some commandments in the Quran that supersedes previous revelations, this is called Doctrine Of Abrogation, Medinan(Latter) Revelations superimpose on Meccan(Former) Revelations.  Sura 2:106.
  1. BIBLE: A true Muslim believe this is one of the numerous books given by Allah to several prophets before Mohammed, they generally accept books such as The Pentateuch of Musa(Tawrah/Torah), The Psalm of Dawood(Zabur), The Wisdom of Solomon, The Gospel of Christ(the Injil aka the Synoptic Gospel’s), most often than not Muslims rarely quote Paul’s numerous letters to the churches. Sura 3:48, 65, 5:46-47; 9:111. There’s a belief that Mohammed was mentioned in the bible Sura 7:157, till date it has never been proven to be true, Yes in Songs of Solomon(SOS 5:16) a word is used, that is believed to be root word to Mohammed(Muhammadim) however the specific passage wasn’t talking about a person to come in future. Songs of Solomon is at best romantic poetry. Muslims(Mohammed specifically) are enjoined to SEARCH THE BIBLE if they have doubts about anything Sura 10:94. Muslims believe the Bible is the Word of Allah, also they think the bible has been corrupted, but Allah’s word cannot be altered [Sura 6:34,115; 10:64], if the Bible is Allah’s word and Allah’s word cannot be altered how was/is the bible corrupt? If the Quran quoted several passages in the Bible and even enjoined Muslims to read the bible in case of doubt, which book can be trusted? The one that claims the other is corrupt but weirdly still asks you to read it in case of doubt?
  1. CREATION: Allah created all things for different reasons albeit, e.g. Stars are used to shoot demons[Sura 67:5], there are differing creation stories of man’s creation it all points to Allah creating man from dust, water, clayblod clot etc. Modern Muslims are wont to accept evolution thus making them false Muslims, True Muslims DO NOT BELIEVE man evolved from same ancestors as apes. [Sura 2:164; 17:70; 20:50; 35:1].
  1. RELIGIOUS PRACTICE: a true Muslim observes the following religious rituals, PRAYERS(SAWM5times daily, giving alms(ZAKAT), Recite the SHAHADA(confession of faith and belief in Allah and Mohammed), makes efforts to go on HAJJ or Ummrah(Lesser Hajj) at least once in a lifetime, and observes yearly Fasting(RAMADAN the month when the Noble Quran was revealed).
  1. ARTICLE OF FAITH(IMAN): A TRUE MUSLIMS believes in the following articles of faith, 1) Oneness of God(Tawhid[Sura 112:1] NOT Trinity [Sura 5:73]), 2) Believes in all Messengers and Prophets(Adam to Jesus)[Sura 2:136]3) believes the Bible and Quran are revelations from Allah for different people at different times, whilst the Quran is the final revelation for Mankind[Sura 3:3]4) Believes in Angels, special creation of God that do not eat or drink, have no freewill and cannot be seen with naked eyes, 5) Believes in the Judgment Day when both the dead and living will stand trial before Allah(Jesus by his side) [Sura 1:4; 26:82], your deeds are weighed if the good outweighs the bad you enter paradise else you go to hell, with hypocrites having the lowest parts of hell[Sura4:138,145] and finally 6) Predestination what will be will be because Allah is sovereign and knows best, absolute Iman(faith) in Allah is required with unquestioning obedience[Sura 65:3; 76:29-31]
  1. KORAN: is the go-to religious text of Muslims, a book believed to be the very words of Allah given to Mohammed in the month of Ramadan over a 23yr span by Angel Gabriel, touted to be Allah’s last and final revelation can also be called Al-Furqan(The Criterion), and claims to be CLEAR(easy to understand) [Sura 3:3, 7; 10:37]. There are 114 Suras(Chapters) and 6666 Ayats(verses) in the Quran. A True Muslim doesn't question or seek to subjectify the Koran, doing so makes one a hypocrite [Sura 33:36; 5:101-102]
  1. MARRIAGElike other Abrahamic religion, marriage ๐Ÿ’‘ is between a man and a woman, unlike the other 2 religions, a True Muslim can marry at least 4wives provided they have the financial means to cater for the women. No! A man cannot marry another man neither can 2 women marry each other[Sura 4:3]
  1. FREEDOM OF RELIGION: in the early days of Muhammad's religious ministry, freedom of religion was central to his doctrine[Sura 2:256], towards the end of his ministry this was obliterated and every non-Muslims faced his wrath[Sura 9:29; 2:193].
  1. JIHAD: contrary to common practices and beliefs, Jihad literally means WAR, not spiritual but physical war that comes with violence. Mohammed prayed to die as a Mujahideen( plural form of Mujahid, an Islamic fighter engaged in Jihad) severally in the Hadiths, and all over the Quran we see whenever Jihad was mentioned physical violence followed it [Sura 9:20; 8:38-39, 74.].
  1.  MOHAMMAD: The prophet of Islam born in 570 CE in Quraysh, believed to be Allah's last and final prophet, believed to have had divine revelations for 23yrs(609-632 CE) of his life, had between 9-13 wives after the death of Khadija(His first wife), the husband to Aisha(betrothed at 6yrs and married at 9yrs old), held in reverence by 1.6 billion Islamic faithful’s, and died of poison complications, also Called the Most Perfect Muslim who ever lived.[Sura 33:21]. No true Muslim can question the conduct, decree of pronouncement of Mohammed [Sura 4:65]. Sadly Mohammed was not assured that he was saved [Sura 46:8-10].
  1. SATAN: called Iblis, the Quran alludes that Satan fell because of refusal to pay obeisance to Adam[Sura 2:34; 38:72-78] as opposed to Christian theology that Satan fell because of pride and attempted usurpation of the throne of God. Iblis is responsible for babies crying immediately after birth because he touches their feet[Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol 4 No 641]. Deceived Adam and Eve in Eden [Sura 7:14-22], cannot touch True Muslims, fears Allah, is an enemy of man, and whispers evil[Sura 114:4].
  1. JESUS CHRISTis believed to be a prophet and not the son of God as Allah begets not[Sura 112:1-4]is also not God[Sura 5:17], Jesus is the most revered and special Prophet in Islam only Moses has more mentions than Him, He raised the dead, spoke at a day old[Sura 3:46], gave a clay bird life[Sura 5:110], raised to Allah [Sura 3:55], claimed he was no more than a messenger BUT no other prophet before or after Jesus did what Jesus did[Sura 5:75; 2:253] etc.
For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. Rom 1:20
